Advice Notice Generation

Every formal piece of advice must be documented in a notice that captures the recommendation, the rationale, the risks discussed, and the costs disclosed. The notice is the artefact the FCA expects when they ask 'what advice did this firm give and on what basis?'

In most firms, advice notices are drafted from memory or scattered meeting notes days after the conversation. Detail erodes, evidence links go missing, and compliance has to push back on incomplete notices.

Where firms produce them well, they spend serious adviser time doing it. Where they don't, the regulatory risk shows up months later.
